Ok Guys, heres the problem:
I have a 97' Civic that has severe vibrations while idling in cold weather. I am assuming it's an engine mount problem.. Is this model year notorious for having bad engine mounts? The car only has 80k on it. Is there anything I can do besides dropping 300 bucks on getting them replaced? I read about some inserts you can buy to fix the problem.. Has anyone ever gone this route before? Are they a pain in the ass to install? Damn, I would hate to blow all that money right now. |

Re: 97' Civic Severe Engine Vibration
In the cold your car idles rougher till it warms up, and your mounts are cold(harder)
