Question very important please reply

Okay, this is my dilema...No Christmas present for my fiance'. I have knowledge about some cars but I am not fully introduced to the car world. I want to add a supercharger to his car and also want a certain kind of rims that I am not sure exist in the size desired. I need to find out if there is such thing as 20" Cobra R rims and tires (chrome) and if they will fit a 91 Cougar. Also with the the super charger I need to know if I can fit one in the Cougar, its a V8 5.0 HO with very limited room. Also I would like a body kit for it but am not sure the best kind to get so if any one has any info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

dont know about other questions. but for the rims, try www.tirerack.com or www.whalentire.com they usually tell which sizes are available.

The XR7 version of the car had a supercharger stock. It may be a simple matter of swaping out the unit from a donor car. Body kits can be hard to locate. Try doing a Google search under Cougar, body kits. That will likely show you some sources.


For the wheels, I have never seen anything larger than an 18" that fits without rubbing or modification. Here is a complete list of every wheel we know will fit the car:
