brake torquing

Is this bad for the tranny or engine when launching an automatic?

I'd be more worried about the racing than the launches. If your worried about it, don't do it. It aint a race car. But yea, for a good lauch you *stall* it out as much as possible without breaking the tires loose, resulting in a break torque/burn out. Engine mounts may wear faster
