Progress: Integra Type R

So I decided to start my Teg last night, and seen as I cant just make a stock model, I've decided to make this one pretty wild. Sofar I've just got the body set, I've shaved: Door handles, Trunk, all badges, bumper seams, and turn signals. My coolest mod sofar is teh Targa Top conversion. Looks awesome, if I do say so myself. This will be my best model to date, as I've already put alot of blood and sweat into it. (More blood though, almost had to make a trip to the ER while doing the T-Top conv. ) Its going to be Black & Blue Pearl, with red graphics with a black/red interior setup.

No pics yet But I'm getting a digi-cam for x-mas, so I'll have some pics up X-Mas day Check back then.

PICS! PICS!

The interior doesnt look as bad as the camera makes it, I'm still learning how to use teh cam, but this gives you the basic idea. I'm also working on how to get the top to stay on, but that shouldnt be too hard. Check back for more progress.

Thanks!

Thanks, I'm really not satisfied with the interior, (especially those pics ) so that'll be redone, but the Targa Top came out perfect I think.

I suggest filling the drip rails to smooth out the back half of the targa roof. But other wise the car looks pretty good.

While we're suggesting stuff, what would you think about extending the trunklid forward to the B pillar (the rear doorjamb), adding a vertical plate of class, and making it sorta like a Integra Del Sol? They did it with the CRX, it would be a neat little phantom.

Maybe I'm tired, maybe I'm stupid, or maybe it was the X-Mas alcohol, but I dont know what you mean

Re: Re: Progress: Integra Type R

You knopw the lil lines indented into the roof? they're two of them and run parallel to each other, commonly painted in black? Fill those in to smooth out the top, that's all layla's keeper was suggesting.

Dont worry your not the only one. I dont really think it looks right either, but its a show-car, and even if they're ugly they win for "originality". That and I ran out of things to shave
