ABS light
Just got a 1993 Lumina Euro. The ABS light will not go off. THe ABS system was checked and it checked out in great working order. Is there anyway to turn the light off beside taking the bulb out?
If anyone wants to chat about Luminas Instant message me at AtomicIce6 on AIM. |

Re: ABS light
Same problem with a 94 Lumina APV. Seems the ABS needs constant voltage. Replaced my alternator a year ago and haven't had the problem with the light since.

Well, the Alternator and battery are both new.

Re: ABS light
Hi,
My 97 Lumina has the same problem. I got my light to go off by jacking my car up and disconnecting each wheel sensor. Clean them out by spraying with some electro-contact cleaner. After that I put a shot of die-electric grease in each side of the connector and reconnected them. My ABS light hasn't gone off in over 6 months now. You should be able to get the contact spray and the small tube of die-electric grease at any major auto parts store. Hope this helps. C. Smith

Hi, I guess I should have worded this as saying my ABS light hasn't come on in over 6 months now. C. Smith
