Talking I smile every morning....

Every morning when I get up, walk downstairs, and see this in the garage; I smile

btw, I hope that doesn't sound like I'm being a wanker - I just found myself smiling stupidly again the other day, and had to share.

That would put a smile on mine too, then again, anything other than what I currently have would achieve the same effect.

Not good enough. I could name you a good list of cars that have both right and left handed driver locations. You have a couple infact.

Apparently the location of the turbos on the RB series engines makes it a bugger to convert to LHD

And Nightmare: :finger: :finger: :finger: ya dirty bugger!

Yeah well they should have been aware that I might potentially want one here in Canada that I can drive on teh right side of the road! Hmm I think I'll sue Nissan for not bringing the S15 and GT-R to North America. It's causing me untold amounts of anguish. Anyone up for a class-action lawsuit?

My feelings on the Skyline are pretty well known (not impressed for those who may not know) but it seems that Nissan doesn’t want to go through the trouble of setting the car up to be a left or right hand driver. And, I would much rather have the VR4s anyway – and I suppose that’s why I do.

just purely out of curiosity, why not impressed? Any particular model of Skyline? This from driving one? Being a passenger in one? ('cos they can be two very different experiences) Simply think they're ugly? I'm not trying to convert you or anything; as I said, I'm simply curious.

I wanna hear this too. Why would a VR4 impress and a GTR not?

The looks of the car dont do anything for me. The performance, while very good, is nothing stupendous (as compared to the GTS I've been lucky enough to drive). Here in the states people go absolutely ga-ga over Skylines. Most of them only know what they’ve read in magazines and have never actually even seen one. The way they talk about it, you’d think Jesus Christ would be driving one for his second coming.

I will admit that I have not driven one and have only seen two in person so there is always the chance that I to will be cast under its spell and start worshiping the roads its driven on.

I am certainly not raging on anyone for being damn proud of their ride. No chance on that, because I am the same way. But when I look at the stock numbers (please, no one start the crap about this mod and that mod), I just don’t get all worked up. Maybe I am to used to vettes, supras, rx7, 300ZX, VR4s etc. that perform the same (give or take a click) and look so much better IMO.

I never said that a VR4 is impressive.

I love my cars, but I don’t think their anything particurally impressive. Sure the Spyder is pretty unique, but there are other cars that are much more impressive.

To reiterate what I said earlier. The styling is pretty dull to me.

I ran [email protected] in my BONE STOCK 94 R32 GTR
My Stealth TT ran 13.8@99 bone stock. It took a K&N, ATR downpipe, no main cat, gutted pre cats, and borla catback to run 12.97@105.

Form your own opinions.
