This thread is for recomending and reviewing clutch kits for Tacomas.
Make: 98 Tacoma 4cyl. 2.7 litre. I can't recommend anything. Thats why I started the thread. A freind of mine is replacing my original 1998 motor with a 2000. We're going to put a new clutch in as well. Ave. price for a "clutch kit" is running around 280$ although I did one as low as 140$. |

Don't just look at price. This is a place that you absolutely do not want to skimp. I blew through 2000$ in parts and labor before I finally learned the lesson. Go with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and then use all Toyota Factory bearings, etc. I can also highly recommend the Centerforce flywheel (mine is 9-10 pounds over stock.)
Stay away from anything made in China!!!! If you have a stock truck, then just stick with all Toyota parts. |
