Tire Recommendation for Tiburon

Hello all and happy holidays

I need a tire recommendation for my 2001 Tiburon. The original tires, Michelins, have not held up very well and am told that these are the only tires I should use as they are designed for high speed cars. Tires are $150 a piece and I don't want to pay that.

Thank you.

Whoever told you that was wrong. Any tire will work that matches the size requirements for your car. Cooper makes a decent inexpensive tire. You can check prices out for the different types at www.tirerack.com and stop at your local sears or discount tire, they can give you prices as well.

Happy Holidays to you as well and welcome to the board
