dash configuration question
I have a 2001 Jetta, and my current dash from the top down is the cupholders, pocket, and radio....is there any way to change this?
I'm looking to get a cd player (sony cdx-mp80) with a tray that comes out...I don't want that to get in the way of my shifter, since the stereo is so low...can I reconfigure the setup so that the stereo is on top, and the pocket is on the bottom? does this make any sense to anyone? |

Re: dash configuration question
You may be able to. The standard config is cup holder, CD player, Radio. It works fine. I don't see any reason wh yyou can't switch them. Give it a try. Do you still have the DIN pullout tools?
Did you have any luck understanding the wiring harness? I want to add a third audio source. There is an empty input from the cxhanger (which I don't have) but can't find wiring descriptions. Does your manual hav this? |
