Cool

Hi 200sx, I like your spirit. Keep it up man....

The EVO 6 has so far eluded me! However on the last track day, there was another 6 and I tell ya...it was fast. We were not allowed to race on the track but I did kiss his ass for about 3 laps when it was time for him to go to the pit. It handled better than my GTR from the way I looked at it. On the straights though, I think the GTR's 6 engine could eat him up in the 3rd or 4th.

I have a lot of respect for the Evos. Recently, a friend bought an Evo 6. I have yet to drive it. I have read about the Evo 7 and from the reviews I gather it is an awesome car. If only the GTR is 200kg less....than the Evo would be shitting in it's pants.

Hi Racer, how are you dude?
Nope, had never driven one. Non of my friend own a wrx or wrx sti. Would love to try one....have been reading about the new sti...sounds awesome.

200, the track owner does not allow racing or even lap timing. However lap timing is done quietly by us eithet by using oue turbo timer or stop watch I guess unsanctioned racing is not allowed on the track. There is also a pack among us trackies not to race each other, after all we go to tha track to have fun and to learn. Racing is however organised every weekend together with drag racing (on Saturday night 8pm-2 am) at a different track. I don't go there as those events are patronised by the souped up Civics and Mits owners who would not hesitate to whack your rear bumper while trying to overtake!

Cool

Racy, ordering the torque converter already are we? Cool stuff. I have decided to keep it....now am trying with 30% of torque in front. I will write more about it after 29th ...my track day has finally been confirmed. Even without going to the track, cornering feels much more secure and coming out from a corner is much faster. Less understeer and oversteer.
The Civics aree normally 2 doors type with souped up engine using type R materials or Spoon's parts. Could do 145-200 hp (na). Some of them are high on Nos (some drivers are even high on something - judged from the way they behave on the track!). The Mits are normally old Evos 3. Drive like maniacs having diarhoea or something... These people will instantly become dickheads with a horn or two in the middle when they see a GTR/Supra/Imprezza/RX 7/Evo 6. Thay will do anything to overtake these cars - whether on the track or on busy road in towncentre! I simply HATE them. Luckily, they can't afford to go to the Sepang F1 track. They congregate at the other track on Sats and Sundays. Not enough with that, they sometime have illegal racing on the hiughway after midnight (normally weekend). They are so daring like you wouldn't believe. Sometime ago, there was a report that one of them even knocked a police car while being chased!!

that sounds like it came out of a video game, me personally, i don't like civics, here in the US everybody seems to have one, that is defenitely not atractive when your mom drives the same type of car that you do

I agree. Civics and Accords were not ment to be fast drag racers and stuff!! It drives me crazy. The ricified ones are the worst. The bodies they put on them actually ADD weight making it go SLOWER. Plus with all of the money they spend on those normal cars they could have spent on an actual fast car. Chevy's Z28 Camaro can be found cheaper the the Type-R Integra, yet it's much faster. I say if your going to spend 40-50 thousand on a Civic or Integra you might as well get a used NSX or import a Skyline GTR. This guy I know spent more money than the cost of a Supra on his Accord. After I slaped him around a bit he had realised he was a fool. Then he sold it to so street racer guy and got him self a Corvette C5. With an upgraded exaust system. Off course he was critised by his ricer friends but he doesn't care know. His vette is much faster than his old...accord. <<shivers>>

Racer, spent more money on an Accord than the cost of a Supra? Real nuts... But you won't be prepared for this guy over here. He converted his Mits to look like a GTR (complete with round tail lights etc). And guess what? He took a block of wood.....(you are gonna like this)....painted it silver to look like an intercooler...and put it in front of the radiator!! :evillaugh He is real proud of it too.....he sent the picture to a local mag!! Freakin' nut case of the year!
