In-line fuse holders

I bought a walmart off brand wiring kit a while back and the inline fuse holder in it went out so I replaced it with a fosgate gold plated one. I also got some fosgate fuses (Platinum). Now my bass seems delayed and when I turn down the volume it takes a sec. for the bass to go down. And when I hit bumps or something the bass just kinda blares out real loud. What is the problem? Is it the fuse or fuse holder??? Thanks.

It could very well be if it's not making good contact it would increase resistance but i never saw/heard of it happening before. Check your ground. Remember all an amp needs it pwr grnd rem and signal...

yeah, check your ground.. and make sure your amp/woofer are'nt shifting in the trunk. my ground gets loose every now and then, and affect how well the bass sounds.
