350 Z Front License Plate Mounting—help!

I've got a new 350 Z Roadster and I live in the state of Washington. Unfortunately, the law here requires a front license plate on cars, or it's a $101 fine every time they nail you.

According to the manual, I have to drill a couple holes in the nose of the car in order to mount a front plate. Yikes! It seems a much more criminal act to do such a thing to that car, than it is to drive around with no plate on the front, but the fines are going to add up quick.

Any suggestions? Does anyone know of a mounting that will fix to the grill so that the car doesn't haven't to be drilled?

Move to Florida or look at http://strictlyz.com/customer/produc...6d46a2f895fb84 which uses the tow hook spot behind the grill so you don't have to drill any holes.

put the license plate inside your car on top of your dash so ot can be seen through the front window of your car, this is legal and you wont have to drill holes in your car!
