Idle goes up and down when cold

Hi,

I have 95 bmw 525i. I went to a shop to fix the idle problem when the engine is cold it goes up and down then died. But once it warms up everything is fine. The mechanic tried to replaced the idle control vlave but still. They also replaced the hoses. But still doing the same thing.

I need help if you have any idea. Just send me an email.

Maybe not such a good mechanic, bimmers are different than other cars. I'd say clean out the throttle body housing, keeps the butterfly on the housing from working rite. Other than that check all the easy stuff yourself. Injector boot, any vacuum hoses, electrical connections.......Bill.
