Hi ya'll, My names jack. I'm a non-traditional student pursuing a PhD in GIS Sciences At Concord College in West Virgina. I grew up in Pheonix, Arizona and find working on, maintaining, and beeting the crap out of my vehicles, just so i have to work on them some more, one of the most peaceful things i can do in my hectic life. I have a seven year old son, who is going to make a great motor head , and maybe a great proffesional driver himself someday. My other vehicle is a mint condition 1980 Suzuki GS 1100E that will flat out scare the hell out of ya. I guess that's my ocasional adrenilin fix. I have always been a motor head since i was about 8 years old. then I took four years of autimotive vacational training when i was younger speciallising in tune up and trouble shooting, but decided i didn't want to do that for a living, and would rather use that knowledge to help friends and family maintain thier vehicles. I also used it to build my own hot rods and believe in using the correct parts and equipment for the intended use of vehicles. Don't waist your money at autozone, GET THE GOOD STUFF and it will last longer and do what you need it to do. I bought my 2000 Silverado with standard cab/Short wheelbase/ 4.8 liter/ 5 speed manual/ 4:10 gears/ tow package / heavy duty suspension/ and locking rear end because here in the mountains of W.V it takes a stout vehicle to get to where your going somtimes, (and G.M was selling the only true factory locker! ) Happy to be a member of AF and willing to help, listen, and chat if you need someone to cuss at because your brand new truck won't start and it is telling you that you are trying to steel it and it has locked everything down. I hate that!!!!!!!!
Thanx, Jack
