Question 77 Impala 2 Door Value

How can I fight the insurance companies estimate of my car's worth? I got hit by a driver that ran a stop sign and now their insurance says my cars only worth $1000 and don't want pay cost to fix. It was in good to V.good condition w/ 70k miles on it. Any ideas/advise?

Re: 77 Impala 2 Door Value

I would check either the Kelley Blue Book (kbb.com) or Hemmings.com and look for a comprable car. The car has to be worth more than $1,000.
