87 v-6 catback

hey guys i'm posting this for a friend. I've tried looking for an exhaust for his 87 v-6 camaro. I'm not having much luck and want to ask what is probbly the best for him he would like somthing nicer then stock but is on a tight budget his wohle exhaust is shot so he needs a whole cat back. Thanks for all your help.

Is it just the cat or is it the whole exahust? I got a really good deal on mine. I got a pacesetter exhaust off of ebay, the whole kit built for 3rd gen camaros for 125 bucks. comes with all the clamps and hangars and some nifty tips. they sell them regulary on ebay.

Re: 87 v-6 catback

Well any performance cat back system will give him better perfomance and sound better too. But as far as all around performance there is a ton he can do. He could actualy get a complete exhaust system from the y pipe back. There's just a ton. It'd take days to list them all.

Re: 87 v-6 catback

Well, tell him to get the complete exhaust system, a low temp thermostat, and a thermomaster performance chip. Best bang for the buck in my eyes. All of that and you can get it for less than 400 bucks.
