I know this is a poll so do't shoot me up too bad!
The Blue Oval folks had a chemical engineer as a member and he did a study in his lab. The Line X was better in all areas.

LineX v. Rhino

I know a lot of guys who have tried both and the LIneX always seems to hold up longer and it doesn't fade as bad.

I've heard the rhino gets chaulky over time. No personal experience with either. Whenthe time comes...I'm getting the line-x.

I've had both and in my opinion they both have their good qualities. The Rhino liner was thicker and softer so it absorbed impact from dropping heavy stuff, but it faded after about a year. I have Line-x on my truck now and its not soft so stuff slides sometimes, but it has not faded and it has a pattern to it. Since I had it sprayed over the rails I went with line-x because it looks better and holds its color. This is just my experience.

I researched them both and the line-x was the best. Got it sprayed in about 2 weeks ago and it is awesome!!!

S

Has anybody tried speed liner. That is alo a very good brand. I have that on my 2002 Z71. I put a line X in my S-10 and it is already fading. Only had it a little over a year. I have speed liner the same amount and still is shining.

Re: rhino liner VS line x whos best?

I bought a speedy liner about 5 years ago, I traded the truck after 2 years. It faded pretty quickly, it held up well. The thickness is probably up to the shop that sprays it on.

(begin rant) I had it done at Dobson Ford in Winamac, IN. The body shop manager was a real butthead, customer service was non exsistent. Ultimately, you need to find someone that cares if you spend any more money in their shop or not. I haven't spent any more money there and won't.

my father has had his rhino for 4 years, and everytime i sit in the bed with jeans, i get black residue all over me. My line-X has been on mine for 3 years now, and no problems at all. A little white calcium residue, but i just wet and black the bed, and its good for a month or so.
