engine problems
hi i am having a problem with my 96 gt with the 2.4 litre and when ever i start to accelerate all i can hear is a rattling sound or a ticking sound and i just had a new gm crate motor put in.

the sound is coming from the motor and it only happens when i am shifting from 1st to 2nd and the to 3rd and then quiets down and i did not beat on the motor i drove it for 500 hundred and drove to my mechanic and had him do an oil change for the warrentte to work and then when i drove it from MA to AZ it started to make that noise and it is getting worse
