detroit auto show

hey, i get to go to the Detroit Auto Show this January...(can't wait)....neways, does neone know if there is going to be a McLaren booth there or anything of that sort? If BMW might include a McLaren F1 at their podium by chance?

i'll be sure to take lots of pics for u guys in this forums if there is

i highly doubt it man. it may be there if bmw are doing something celebrating their history, but its unlikely.

It could be presented as a part of some kind of motorsport display, but, with Mercedes presenting the Mclaren SLR at this show, I doubt very much that an F1 will be there.

Yeah I was about to say that there will definitely be a McLaren at the show, but it will wear an 'SLR' badge instead of an 'F1' badge. BMW has a FINA GTR here in the US that they use for special presentations, but I doubt it will show up at Detroit or any other auto show anytime soon. Your best chance to see it is going to be at a BMW event like Oktoberfest.

The SLR will definately be there ( see below ), but I can't find any media information pertaining to BMW's presentations at the show ( yet ).

Hello,

The SLR was at Mercedes shw-room on champs-Elysees in Paris, France but do not sat longtime.
There will be 3 to test on autodrome of Linas-Montlhéry.
