Scrambler Headlight Problem

I have a 1985 Scrambler. The headlights suddenly stopped working from one day to the next! The parking lights work fine. I did not see a fuse just for the headlights but I checked all the fuses and they looked good. I replaced the headlight switch but it did not help. I also replaced a relay that looked like it was tied into the bundle of wires coming from the switch but still nada on the lights. Is there a fusible link or something else in the circuit I need to look for? Any ideas why the parking lights work but not the headlights?

You may need a shop manual with a wiring diagram for this problem but as a hunch, have you checked the dimmer switch ?
