1st Real win!!!

Okay. After having suffered some abuse to my ego by getting "Spanked Twice in One Night," I won my first stoplight run the other night. As I pulled up to a light at around 11:30pm, I saw an SUV in the slow lane, and got behind this car in the fast lane which turned out to be a Neon coupe. I noticed the gay tailights and standard issue coffee can exhaust, super dooper doodoo body kit etc.. The light turned green, and I hammered it to get past the SUV. I just pulled away from him until I thought "Maybe He's not trying to run." At the next light, I revved on him, and he rolled down his window talking all kinds of shit. I just laughed. When the light turned green, I took off. I don't know if he couldn't drive, or if his car wasn't running right. I've heard that a Neon should be able to dispatch my H with extreme prejiduce. I don't know if someone was trying to get me riled up or what, but they told me the Neon is stock with like 150hp. I don't even care. When I let loose, all he saw was taillights. I mean this cat got yanked. I could hear that cheesy ass exhaust and just laughed. He was pissed, he started tailgaiting me and being all obnoxious flashing his lights and what not. I guess he was trying to scare me or something. Again, I didn't give a fu*k. That's how we do in Ol' Virginee. So, my first actual kill was on a Neon coupe. Slight redemption from the SRT ass whoopin dealt to me a couple of weeks ago. I hope to see him again, it was about two miles from my house, maybe he lives over there too.

There was a model called the neon r/t that had 150hp, but the base is running 132 hp. So no matter what it was good kill, BTW you tailgate in football and you tail some ones ass when you drive

Re: 1st Real win!!!

Good kill. When I had my stock dx engine with i/h/e I would race and be side by side my friend's neon (132hp) up until faster speeds where he would nudge a few hairs ahead. They've got some power, but also have a couple hundred pounds on the Civic.

Re: 1st Real win!!!

If you throw enough money in a minivan it CAN be fast. I wasnt saying that every civic on earth is slow , but this guy is talkin about a 130hp car that is slow . and no I dont want to drive way the hell out to where ricochet lives jesst to race . Sorry if you civic owners were offended but yes from the factory you car is slow , but hey, the same can be said about mine

The 1st gen Neons actually had engine choices for EVERY model, except the cheapest ones. For every model, you can choose between a 132HP SOHC motor, or for a a higher price, you can get the 150HP DOHC motor.

The DOHC Neon Highline 4-drs were actually faster than the R/T Neons, as they were lighter...

Re: Re: 1st Real win!!!

Man don't throw me into the spotlight of who's car is faster.. I think "slow" is relative. I think my car is slow because I hang out with a bunch of wrx, trans am, turbo-awd, etc. owners. About the minivan, I have an mpg of an old Caravan running a 12 second 1/4, totally destroying a z28.

14 second 1/4 isn't fast by any means.

12's and below are...

jspectyper, eat a dick. I never said my car was fast. I'm starting out just like everyone else. Maybe you still live with mom and dad and have no bills, but I'm a grown man with a family, and just started my project. So, next time grown folks are talking, shut your mouth.
