removing the rev limit

i have a jdm H22a engine in my prelude. It only lets me get to about 112mph before what seems to feel like a fuel cut-off occurs. Of course when im going down hill, like on a freeway, i get to 120, but because of the momentum. What can i do to remove this rev limitor?

that is a speed limiter (rev limiter is different... you don't want to get rid of your rev limiter unless you have done something to the engine to make it capable of revving higher) and honestly why do you want to get rid of it? going that fast just puts you and everyone around you in danger... BUT people will do what they want so check on aftermarket computer upgrades... that is where the limiter comes into play

engine rpm... rev as in you rev up the engine. a rev limiter makes the engine only be able to rev so high before it gets cut off

I dont understand how this guy says he does all this stuff and his friends do this and that and hes seen and heard blah blah blah and theyre gonna put x engine into y chassis and hes never heard of a f*cking rev. If hes new he shouldnt pretend hes done other stuff like a supercharged GSR crx or whatnot. Honestly he seems like a nice guy, I dont think hes really ever gotten that mad(whether hes mentally capable of it or not), but this is getting annoying, his posts are turning into weeds. I think a mod needs to PM him(if they havent) and just have a little talk with him; maybe we can pitch in and send him a bottle of ritalin or something.

Hey, CrXb18c1, you should search like google or something for some of these questions that way you dont get flamed. And also, make a new thread to ask a question(which you have done before, so good job) and make sure you ask it in the right forum. And phrase it as legible as possible as to get your actual question across, if you want you can PM it to me and Ill rephrase it and combine them all into one post and post it for you or send it back or something. The madness must end.
