preparing puttied body 4 paint
i used Squadron Green Putty on a few bodies, n it seems like when i put a lil bit of soapy water on it to wash b4 painting, it gets all wet, as if i just put it on and it has to dry again...what should i do?

The putty absorbs some water, so you should completely dry it before you put primer on it. Holding it out in the sun of under a warm lamp will do the trick.

I use Squadron green primarily, and you should definately let it dry for a day after washing and before painting. I wash the body and let it sit for a day in a plastic container, and wipe down with a soft lint free cloth just before spraying.
Another note, that putty seems to absorb paint a little, so primer is a must. Otherwise your color will look semi-gloss where the putty is. The primer will seal it and stop that effect.
