Anybody experiencing this? I found when ever my dad was at a full stop, it always felt like the car was pushing against the brakes.

power braking
did you check to see if he was double footing it? pressing the gas and the break at the same time, accidently. that gas petal is sensetive.
i found my 1995 740il idling rough, and i took it to the dealer...they said the alum heads had expanded and they were replacing it all for free ($3,000 of parts and labor). was a factory recall. mancho |

i can't check. My dad drives the car and im only 13. I kno he never double foots. He's been driving a BMW 7 since like 1997. Two lovely BMW 7s. But hes been driving a 745 for two years. Even the magazines stated it had a rough idle.

There is an ignition coil campaign and also several bulletins dealing with this situation. He needs to bring the vehicle to the dealer if he is having this problem. It is a KNOWN problem w/BMW fyi.
