Intake for winter
Do you guys suggest taking off the intake for the winter season? Will my engine or turbo damage because of the excessive cold weather and air that the intake is taking in? i dont drive like a maniac most of the time, but there are times when i launch the damn thing, especially since i got a performance clutch.

No, you can keep the intake on. It should be fine.

Re: Intake for winter
keep the intake on as it is an cold air intake and if its winter u know fur sure that ull get the cold air coming in
and it shouldn't damage the turbo either as the turbo heats the air

do you ever drive it in the rain? if the rain hasnt affected it yet then i wouldnt worry about snow! another thing, correct me if i am wrong but isnt your filter where the stock one usually goes (behind the passenger headlight)? if so thats where Mitsubishi wanted it to go and they obviously wouldnt put it where it could suck up water and reck the engine! so i say leave it in, it will be just fine!
