The SH, and even then it's a driver's race. They got bigger engines so thats why on the highway plus he must have been modded, but theyre a little heavier too, with like 400 lbs, and about 30hp more and 30lbs more torque.

Re: GSR vs. Prelude

Yea the SH is the only lude that is close to the GSR stock for stock. And yea it is a drivers race, but any modded SH will pull on you in the 1320 unless you mod your GSR.

OK, yea the one i raced was modded to some extent, he had exhaust visible but i didnt hear and turbo noise and i doubt he would have sprayed for a simple highway fun run. but i was in my 1.6 87 ls teg, so alot could get up and run from me, but not like he did while going 115 or so.

the 97-up ludes all came w/ VTEC motors.

it was the 92-96 gen that had the non-vtec motors in them (h23.)

the 93-96 prelude VTEC was the fastest lude made, and will run dead even w/ the 94-96 gsr, and .1-2 faster than the 97-up gsr's.

Re: GSR vs. Prelude

aren't the type S and type SH the same motor? Isn't the only diff the spoiler, body kit, and atts?

In the LS i have, it is a total drivers race from a dig and it will pull on me a lot on the freeway.

Whats the difference that causes the 96 to be faster than the 97? Just curious cause I have a 96, and I thought I was screwed since a year earlier would have been OBDI. I also looked at preludes too and yeah, every one of the last gens has the DOHC VTEC on it, cause some kids was leavin and had a nice white SH for sale.

The 94-95 are faster b/c they are OBDI and the 96+ are OBDII. I think he must have had a typo Specre

dang, thats what I figured. He knows his stuff too, so when he put

"will run dead even w/ the 94-96 gsr, and .1-2 faster than the 97-up gsr's"

I saw the 97 up and thought maybe he knows something else. Oh well...

Well the difference between the 94-95 and the 96+ is not all that much. You can get an adapter harness and convert it to OBDI but that is too much trouble and money IMO unless you are wanting to run boost and hondata etc. My

Yeah, Id bought a skunk2 harness and was looking for a decent P72, but its like $250. So i sold the harness. A local shop sells some nice complete OBD1 ECUs to put in for about $360, he says no wires to get messed up and he can custom program it to my mods. He is a Hondata dealer and reprogrammer, but this is his own creation(so he told me). Hondata went and checked it out, they were thinking about picking it up, but I dont believe they did.
