Honda RC211V - anyone know of a late style exhaust system transkit/grade up part?

With Studio 27 bringing out the Rossi 'austin powers' style Valencia decal kit, I was wondering if anyone made the late type exhaust system to go with the decals? The new system has 3 outlets, whereas the older one has 2, and has a silencer rather than straight through:

I do not think it can be purchased alone. I just received the transkit with decals a couple of days ago in my store.

So the Valencia decals come with the new exhaust? Or is this a different transkit?

HI Duncan,
The transkit comes with the decals as in the pictures you posted not the Rossi Valencia decals. These come in around the first of the year. The transkit includes new cowl, sides, rear of seat, exhaust and engine parts etc...

Great news!

Also Studio 27 have had an exhaust out for a short while too:

The price put me off though, and the pipes look straight

Yes, Tamiya jumped on the "Valencia wagon" after I bought their RCV 2003 version, the Studio 27 decals and the muffler transkit... well, thats life (or thats marketing, should I say).
Anyway, and judging from the Tamiya photographs, the cowl still has to be modified to represent the correct race version.

I think Tamiya did modify the cowling to reflect the 03 211v late version (The cowling cover half the cluctch housing and the side exhaust, the early version does not). The only thing I'm not sure about is the front "mud guard" seems I recall studio27 instructions says it needs to have some modification. but judging from the Repsol 03 Special edition and Valenica version they look the same.

Now being Tamiya , anyone willing to bet whether Tamiya will produce the Repsol 04 211v. (04 rear seat kind of gone back to the 02 style without the wide opening on either side, otherwise it looks like the late 03 version)

04 Repsol RCV

As far as I can see the only wrong thing is front mud guard, side cowlings look right. I also spend a little fortune for all the things (metals, decals and S27 exhaust pipes) but I don't care because it will be perfect.

You may be right about the cowling. Thanks for pointing that out. Anyway, as Sasa said, the money has gone, lets make the best of it!

Re: Honda RC211V - anyone know of a late style exhaust system transkit/grade up part?

I've been meaning to make a Tamada/Pramac RCV for a while now, but never got around to it. Does anyone know which Tamiya kit I need? 02 or 03?
