How to reverse flush heating system

Does anyone know how to reverse flush the heating system? Are there any shops out there like a Jiffy Lube that would do this and how much do they usually charge.

Thanks for the help!

Re: How to reverse flush heating system

Most quick-lube type places will do this and do a pretty good job of it, expect to pay probably $45. at least, but its worth it as far as being no mess and simple, opposed to you wasting an afternoon and being stuck with a bunch of Antifreeze you can't get rid of.(And no, you can't just pour it down the drain )Or go to any rad shop they'll do it too, only better as they will run a caustic chemical through and you can't/shouldn't do that.

Re: How to reverse flush heating system

i found a simple way to unplug the core, on the inlet side of the heater hose, i disconnected it from the firewall, ( thats the leftside ) i took some weedwacker line and inserted it as far as it would go, filled the hose with LimeAway, reconnected, & instance HEAT

go to Autozone ... buy a Prestone flush kit (approx $10) ... follow the directions ...
