engine misfire

#1 sparkplug misfire can someone tell what could be the cause of that.

Could be a number of things....what year, engine size?

2000 5.3 votec also gas gage gone wire and lost of power. Z71 4x4

Well there are a couple things you can do yourself on that engine.
First, is it still under warranty?
If not, you can swap wires and coils to see if the misfire changes cylinders...2 bolts hold the coil, they are interchangeable..
If you do that and the misfire stays on # 1 cylinder, most likely you have an injector problem.
