Aldl?
My 1995 Century's "Service Engine Soon" light came on the other day and now stays on. I went to check for codes with a piece of wire across terminal A - B and found that there is no wire on B. Only terminals with wires on is A - K - M. Is there any other way to check for codes?

Re: Aldl?
Considering the year model involved, it is possible for the vehicle to have the OBDII connector, which is trapezoidal rather than rectangular. If so, it will require a dedicated scanner to pull and erase codes. Ray

Re: Aldl?
My connector is a rectangular 12 pin connector but only three of the of the pins have wires on them.

Re: Aldl?
How did you access your codes? I have the same connector on my 94 Buick Century Custom (A,K,M)
The connector is 12-pin ODB1, but the GM Code Reader (part # 3123) doesn't look like it will read codes for our car. The compatibility chart only covers Century's up to 1993. The front of the reader says ECM A-B too. |
