Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction

My service engine soon light comes on, and Autozone tells me it is Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction. I do not notice any difference in the way it runs, but the light keeps coming on, any ideas on what to do? 99 Chevy Blazer S-10 4.3 liter.

Re: Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction

Most likely the A.I.R. pump is locked up and has blown the fuse.
This usually happens when water gets inside the pump..
You will have to replace the pump, extend the intake hose to prevent water from getting in the pump and replace the fuse...
The AIR fuse is between the battery and the fender..you will need to remove the battery to replace the fuse.
