Unhappy Stuttering during acceleration and Idle problems

Over the last week my civic has slowly deteriorated in performance.

Mods:
Hi Flo Cat
Cold Air Intake System

Symptons
1. Idle problems : - Idle drops to a point where car is about to stall.
2. Acceleration issues : - Stuttering during acceleration.

I have so far replaced spark plugs and ignition leads however this has not remedied the above symptons.

HELP!!!!!

Idling problem--might be dirty throttle body. You can clean this one up very easily. This might also be why it stutters during acceleration. How long have you had your mods?

Thanks for the reply.

How do I go about cleaning the throttle body? Your assistance would be much appreciated.

It could be pretty much anything

check the TPS sensor, MAP sensor, O2 sensor, check for any vacuum leaks.

I've had the same problem since I've had my engine swap, and I still can't figure out what it is. I think it's the TPS sensor. You can't just get a new sensor, you have to get the whole throttle body replaced. My engine came with a broken TPS sensor, so I got a used throttle body. A new one would have cost me around $700. But then again, it could be your fuel injectors, or the fuel filter. Try running some fuel injector cleaner through the fuel system.

I've have already tried running fuel injector cleaner through the engine no difference......I have a feeling it might be either the throttle body or even the injectors.

Does anyone know where I can find a engine manual for the EG engines?
