Exclamation remotes

Sorry, I did a search but couldn't find anything related.

HELP! 2000 Grand Prix

Both (2) my remotes stopped working on the same day. No door, panic, trunk work.

Can anyone give me a clue as to what it could possibly be?

Re: remotes

Well, I have a 98 and that might happen because the BCU resetted some how. In your particular model year I am not sure if the same trick will work. On my car there is fuse call MALL PGM. You take it out and prest the lock/unlock button for at least 7 seconds. After the 7 seconds passed by the car chimes indicating that the remote was synched with the BCU. Check if you have the MALL PGM fuse and try it

Re: remotes

First off dont listen to Kilroypr

make sure you have freash batteries in both remotes

Put you key in the ignition and turn it two clicks just before you start the car

Press both lock and unlock keys on each of the remotes for about 3 - 5 seconds not at the same time though

Remotes should work now
