New Car!

h0dy,
Just today bought my new wheels. 1987 Corolla Twin Cam with 1992 Corolla SX (FXGT in other markets) engine and wheels. It has <20,000 since a full rebuild with the following gear on it:

-Heavy duty daiken clutch
-4-2-1 mandrel bent extractors into 2.5" piping, high flow cat and 3" canon muffler
-Race cams
-Shaved head
-Port and polish
-SX rims
-Lowered springs

The engine (smallport 4AGE) has 100kW standard (135hp), so fair bet it is pulling closer to 125-130kw (175hp) now.

Chassis has 300,000kms on it, but everything that can be replaced has been. Engine is strong as hell and can't wait to pick it up tomorrow night. Pics coming ASAP!

Re: Teh Ozzies New Wheels!

It's still a crap-olla, goes nicely with my shit-brick

Nah, sounds like a decent car- Toyotas have never been my thing and probably never will be, but as long as you are happy, that's what matters.

I'm also going to get some new wheels soon- putting the shit-brick up for sale and buying a beater, then in 4 or so years, when I"m done with Uni- buy a nice car (and I'll only have 3 years till cheap insurance at that point- can we say E36 M3????)
