Faded/Drunk
Ok, this is pissing me off with people I know.
Everyone from LA thinks (correctly) that faded means "high" Everyone south of the OC thinks that it means drunk. And people from norcal are just aliens so they don't count. What do you guys think? Please state if you are from Cali as well.

I have lived in LA for over 2 years, hung around with lots of different people, and have never heard the term faded.
 as far as i now, it doesnt mean either or doesnt exist.

tupac wasn't born in LA but i suppose you'd still say he's from L.A, anyway in that song "you ain't shit without your homeboys" he says
"me and my niggaz is so close, it's compliated, one nigga smokin and drinkin' but yet we're all faded." that would lead me to believe he's referring to catchin a contact from both at the same time. I'm from NY so i don't really use that term. that's what crunk's for

I used the term fading to indicate that I am tired and about to head for home...
But y'know that's after a big night on the turps, chasing some crusty old slapper maybe dossing down somewhere...

we dont use shit like that in NY lol, we use "Crunked" "Lets get gizzied" "Slueshed" but I have heard the homeboyz say "I'm bouts to fade that dunn over there" so I would like to belive "jump" buts its different in different locations
