programming my 94 keyless entry
How do you a program a 1994 keyless entry?
Why is it a big secret? GM dealers want money and I'm not going to pay for something that I could do on my own. |

94 Regal Keyless Entry
My '94 Regal has a wire in the trunk, just above the antenna. When that wire is grounded, the door locks and trunk release will cycle. I understand that this puts the system in program mode. Keep the wire grounded and press and hold "lock" and "unlock" on the remote (some say you need to press unlock only). You should hear the locks. Do both remotes at the same time. Unground the wire. In my case, sometimes the programming works and other times it doesn't. I suspect a receiver problem with mine, I just don't know where it is. I think that it may be under the dash/instrument cluster. There is an aluminum box with a number of cables attached. Some say, "don't mess with this or the air bag could deploy." Enough to scare me away, at least for now.
Anyway, mine does respond to this procedure ocassionally. There seems to be some well known procedures for 1997 and above but not much information for earlier model years. Good Luck, Ray [email protected] |

94 Regal Keyless Entry Receiver Location?
I missed the reference to Haynes. I don't have a Haynes manual. I did get a Chiltons that covered everything from 88 to 96 and there is no mention of keyless entry much less the receiver. I spent the better part of yesterday messing with it because it didn't work. The day before it did (more often than not). I would love to know where this receiver is located and what it looks like.

1994 Buick Regal GS keyless entry remote, need FCC #, remote lost
Hi, Can anyone help, please? I just bought my first Buick, and 1994 Regal GS coupe. It has factory installed keyless entry, but did not come with the key fob. I am trying to buy one, but the dealer wants over 90 dollars, then another 21 to program it. I found some on ebay, but they give two different FCC #'s. ABO0303T and ABO0104T. I'm not sure which one it takes, and I can't find anyplace to look it up. If anyone has a remote for a 94 Regal GS, would you please look on the back and tell me the numbers? Any advice you care to offer would be appreciated. Thank you
