98 windstar lx idle

hi all

im french so i will try to explain my problem the best i can.

when the car is completely immobilised and i remove my foot of the brake. I dont push on the accelerator to let the car move by it self...
At around 3 or 4 KM/H the RPM go from 800 RPM to about 100 or 200RPM like its going to turn off, it happenned 5 times that the engine just stoped.

anyone got the same problem as me? If so what can i do please?

Hey, check out threads 15, 24 and 33. These discuss similar problems. I to have the same problem. The engine seems to misfire as well. I just found this info/page and have not had the opportunity to run through these suggestions. But my guess is they are pretty much right on the money.

I'll be working on them this evening and will return a post if I get the chance.
