mr2 vs ae101

I heard the ae101 levin/trueno can out perform the mr2 (89 back) can anyone give there opinion who drove both cars or seen them run together.

Well... Guess it depends on a lot of things... But i have once raced a female friend of mine...
I have the AE101... She have the AW11 (mr2)...
We raced EU highway for about 40km...
And she was slightly faster than me in acceleration... While i had a better topspeed than her...
Guess she was a sec faster than me from 0-100
And a coupple of secs faster from 100-200...
My topspeed was according to my speedometer 235kmh... And i guess i was about 5kmh faster than here... So i got her... But the race was very close... Cause everytime i got passed her... She could lay in my slipwind and get closer... Cause of the AW11's low hight i couldnt really do the same with her...
So i would guess i you race with the wind against u... U would get beat...
Dont really know...
But in my oppinioun the 114hp of the 4A-FE(AE101) energine is more impressive than the 124 of the 4A-GE(AW11) energine...

yea iv raced them in my AE101 20v 4age Trueno, wasnt much point AE101 took it no probs along with the s/c version of the AW11, put a 20valve in a AW11 on the other hand... you will have a 14 sec 1/4 beast b4 mods.

and that is what i have. 8kRPM of mid mounted goodness.
