Has anyone put a TRD turbocharger in their camry? I hear they cost something $4k! And cost another $1k to have installed!

um....TRD never made a turbocharger, they have only made a supercharger and its about 4k for the supercharger.

Actually they are a bit cheaper now, I'll have to check my price list. The reason for the high install is becasue of the man hours involed in putting one on. Some place charger high than others.

But there is a turbo for the 5SFE for the 4cyl Cam

Burien Toyota, which is known as TRD Northwest, made a turbocharger kit for the Camry 5SFE set at 5psi.
