Re: Lifted Camaro

definatly redneck.. i thinkg it might be cool though. Just as long as its a 2nd gen Camaro (70-81)

(BTW did anyone see sunday's monster garage where they turn an old Stingray Corvette into a mud racer?)

Well, I've seen a lifted Trans Am (like from Smokey and the Bandit), and it looked kinda redneck. I'd never do that to a real camaro, but as a model, I think it would be cool. I say go for it. Post pics, too!

Yeah i saw that monster garage pretty crazy with the N20 and 600HP, i wouldn't mind taking it for a spin.

It would def. be redneck, but would be cool as well!

I say do it, theres was a lifted Trans am in the auto shop at my school last year, and one of my buddies "weeked warrior" is an old Buick sittin on a chevy cheyenne chassis with 44's... its deffinatly redneck, but it ownes in the mud holes.

Definitely redneck but cool for a model. I remember when I was in High School in Iowa there were those things all over. 4X4 Vegas , Camaros, you name it it got put on a 4X Chassis

Re: Lifted Camaro

I don't know. I guess it depends on which body style you do it to. The 2nd gen. I don't really care for as much, but the first gen. are the awesome cars. I would never do it, because I love Camaros. I think you should just build it like it was ment to be, low to the ground.

Re: Lifted Camaro

well. if you do decide to lift it your gonna have to base it on a truck frame (maybe the revell 80 bronco kit frame) because a unit body cant support a 4x4 chassis.
