Teg Type R (progression of my first model car)

This is my first time building a model car, so ive decided to show the steps of me making this car. I plan to do a JDM front end version for the car, and i'm guessing this could take while because it my first attempt at it.
anybody have any ideas on what i could use for the front headlight(from some other car, or a way to make them)?

This is the kit that i just bought today:

i'm looking for suggestions on what else i should do to the car so tell me what you think i should do
is still do have a color scheme picked for is but i was thinking maybe red

if this is your first model i'd suggest building it box stock. just work on your paint skills for this one, and don't worry about any major mods. Thats my suggestion.

its not my first first model, but it is my first model import, a while back i did a couple race cars, but that was a long time ago. as for my painting skills im descent with a brush and can put a nice even coat on with a spray can. the only reason im plannig on doing the front end conversin is because i really dislike the front end of any teg built after 93'
but thanx for the suggestions
