CD Install on 94 mx-6
I was wondering if somebody could give me an idea of how hard installing a cd player would be in this car? I have installed a few other ones in a Honda Civic and cars like that, but this one is kinda of looking more complicated. I m also going to install an amp kit at the same time and I was wondering where you ran your wires? IF I have to take off the whole dash how much harder would it be to install white guages too? Any help will would be appreciated. Thanks

Installing a CD Player in this car is very easy. It was my first car to install one in. Just to wal-mart and buy the pins that uninstall factory radios outta the dash. As for the amp, it can't be that hard to find somewhere to run wires. Just like on ne other car.

did you get you cd player/amp kit installed yet?
if not...yah go to walmart buy ford keys, pull out radio, youll need a mazda wiring harness. and to run the wires, if you pull of the door sills there is a plastic factory wiring container under carpet along edge of car and you can fit 4 gauge wiring through there w/o a prob then just run under rear seat and youre there (if you are putting in sub amp you can run rca's and power on the same side of the car, if you are running an amp for your interior speakers (not sub) you should run rca's on passanger side of car and power on drivers side...this helps eliminate noise.)) hope that helped bud |
