96' Aspire: Tail Lights, Running Lights and Dash backlights not working
My tail lights, Front running lights and dash backlight are all not functioning. It says in my Manuel that all these are functioning together on the same fuse system. The fuse is new and when checked inside the car is in working order. So my problem is that I can not figure out what is causing all of these things not to work at the same time other then the fuse system.
Here are some thoughts I had of possible problems but I am no mechanic and dont know much about this.... 1. The switch inside the dash area is not functioning. 2. The bulb in the dash is not operational and may be causing the currency to be discontinued beyond that point. And that is basically all I can think of... Anyone else have ideas or had a similar problem? Please help. my email is [email protected] |

Anyone else have a similar problem. My '96 aspire is doing the exact same thing. Keeps blowing fuses so they do not work.

I had the same problem, last year. behind the fuse panel there are a lot of wires mixed into two big conectors, The large green plug contains the lights, and it can sometimes come loose. Try pulling it out and re-seating it again. then have a friend check the lights and see it it helps. also look to see if someone patched a stereo wire there. |
