shocks - koni yellow
or tokico illumina

springs - tein s tech
neuspeed sport
h&r sport

my requirements -- maintain as much comfort as possible, improved handling etc (very important). im not really bothered about drop. all these offer good enough drop for me.

Having rode on them, I'd highly recommend the combo of Neuspeed Sports with Koni Yellows. They have a very tolerable ride that's not too bouncy, and it's the closest setup comparable to my Teins that I've ever felt. This was on a Civic coupe similar to mine they were on.

Then you really wouldn't like my Teins, LOL! I have the Tein SS and I got a 2kg stiffer spring upgrade recently at all 4 corners on them. A little stiffer and bouncier than when I originally got them, but that's nothing some softening of the dampening ajustment can't fix.

tein ss are great product and were no 1 on my list. i just need to maintain as much comfort as possible while still gettin better handlin and stuff. some guys have said even on softest settin tein are still harsh so decided to leave em.

It all depends on the person. What feels harsh to one, may not to another. Even with my stiffer springs I got for my Teins, they still ride pretty comfortably when on the softest setting. Then again when riding around on them 3/4 of the way to the stiffest setting, ANYTHING softer will feel much better.

Re: help me choose springs/shocks

I also have the tein ss coilovers, I like them alot, and i dont think they are too rough. i left them on the standard setting, in the middle, for a couple hundred miles, and they are great
