'96 Sunfire dies at stoplight !HELP!!
Hey Gang,
Any thoughts on what might be the problem with my 1996 Sunfire (2dr/automatic/60K miles). When the car is in idle, the rpm's surge between 700-1000K. When I am driving there seems to be no problems until I come to a stop...that is when the car will die every now and then. The car has a new alternator, battery seems to be good. I live in the cold climate of Chicago, so I have added "Heat" to the fuel to dissapate any water that may be in the fuel. Also, I added injector cleaner but I still have the problem. Any thought? Thanks, Joseph |
