a little introductory chop (audi rs3)

Whats up. I was really getting into Photoshopjunkie's auto choping contest when the site went under, I was just looking around for a good contest when I came here... thought I'd say hi and get some comments on my latest. Overall there hasn't been a lot of time in this, it went by pretty quick, but I like the result.

this is a shrunken and croped version of the original, just for reference.

and mine

Is it wrong to use someones chop as your original? He did quite a bit to it, and it looks pretty good.

you messed up the rim swap, the front bumper looks fake and bad, and i don't know why flames are there but i don't like em either.

I give you credit for the decals and background. but looks pixelly and stuff.

oh yes, and good work chopping someones chop, you made people angry, not a good intro to the forums.

take care

Really? I had no clue, that exact picture but larger is beign used as the original picture for a contest elsewhere... shouldn't be to hard to find but I'm not going to be the tattle tell.

In response to the comments relating to mine,

The rimswap should look fine, Plz let me know what makes you think otherwise, becuase the entire side of the car, fenders, etc, were used, so between the wheel and the fender there shouldn't be any issues. Now if you mean the whole side, I can see what you mean.

background looks pixleized due to a filter I used to try and emulate heat waves... I think I'll remove it.

Anyway, if anyone can contact whosever chop that is I started with, plz do, I would like to know if they care or not, again I didn't know it was a chop, its the only pic of an RS3 I've ever seen. But honestly theres nothing left of the original except the mirror/side windows and front lights/grill, and I belive those are all origial.

Man, some of you need to pull your panties out of your stomachs. WTF is wrong with chopping a chop? How is it any worse than chopping a picture (that's probably copyrighted) that you've pulled at random off the internet?

Plus, if you think that most of the pictures that we use as starting points for chops haven't already been retouched, you are beyond hope...

Thumbs up for the chop-chop chopper, and thumbs up to the "original's" chop-artist. Thumbs down for the whiners.

u all are assholes, who cares if he chopped someone else's chop? i think he did a great job... the flames are coming from the side exhaust, it happens and is actually quite common in those types of races. only problems i see is the rim swap it messed up (they stick out of the wheel, especially the back rim) and the kit isnt wide enough. welcome aboard, sorry if those ppl were assholes

Re: a little introductory chop (audi rs3)

Hey thanks a lot, I was really loosing faith in this board quick with all that drama. That and another post that makes me belive there are quite a few here that are quick to call "rice" on even stylish mild body work. But that behind me...

Alex5390 - Thank you for pointing out both the exhuast flame issue and the rim. I didn't want to get right up that one guys face, but yes the flame was taken out of an original pic from the FIC European touring car championship. I see the rim issue now as well, and actually it was me earasing a little of the tire that causes the funky look, I see it now.

thanks again, I have more to show, but its again of the same car, and to avoid controversey I'll show it via email or PM only if you would like.

i don't care that he choppd someones chop, i was just saying maybe he shouldve thort b4 chopping it because it got people angry, and you should wait till ur on the board a long time to make people start hating you. but if u didnt know it was someones chop, then it's coo..

regarding the rims, the back rim is sticking out and is at an odd angle and the front one looks fake. other then that its a nice chop,

Alex5390, thanks for pointing out why the flames are there
