My truck, *gulp*
I know you people probably don't like trucks, but I wanted one. It's a 1994 s10 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. Yeah, I bet you all are probably already disappointed. Anyway, I'm fixing to put an intake in it and then a header. It already has Borla Exhaust. I have a wings west ground effects kit, system, neons, some more custom things on the interior and other minor things. I'm not bragging about my stuff in anyway, just trying to get to know you all...:flash:

I have trucks but I still feel that you should only mod them to an extend, otherwise you can ruin the funtionality of the truck. If it comes to that I say you mind as well have bought a car.

Hey, theres nothing wrong with trucks, especially S-10's. My uncle has a company truck, a S-10 with the biggest Vortec they make that can fit in the engine bay, although it might be a bit bigger because the whole thing was custom done. Magnesium wheels for extra hauling grp and everything. The thing can't do crap up to about 80, but after that it's one hell of a quick trip to about 150.

eh, I'm only 16, and my parents probably won't let me get another car. They'll probably say that I'm ungrateful.
If they ever do get me a car I want it to be either a Civic or Integra. I see what you mean buy modding a truck "too much" though. However, I hardly ever put anything in my truck except my bookbag.

wingswest.com or www.teamxenon.com for the kit...
www.stylinconcepts.com for your performance parts and susp... if you go to stylin, let me know, i'll hook you up on a k&n intake and susp pieces... and i doubt a truck with a vortec motor does crap till 80... my s10 with the 4.3 and 5 spd screams up to and through 80, and around 80 i shift into fourth... {stop rewind do it again} till i hit the speed limiter, and i havent hit fifth... they just keep goin... however, the 4 cyl is good for low 17s w/ exh, need intake and header to get lower, as well as a JET chip... like i said, lemme know, i'll get you hooked up |

I'm not into hydraulics...I hate them actually. I prefer bags over hydraulics, even though I don't have them either. I'm still thinking about getting an intake though, then when I get a job(spending on reserves right now) I'll add even more mods to the truck.

Yeah, do your suspension works first, then intake, then exhaust anything else basic you can do with it...sorry, dont know much bout modding trucks
where do you wanna go with it? speed/show/audio? IMO lowriders look like shit, same thing jacked up, so, if i were you id keep the ride height either where its at or an inch or so lower..... but, its all what you wanna do with it......speaking of show and audio.....what the hell does ICE stand for?! i know its about audio, but does it mean anything?! ok............back to this kids truck..... |

With some modifications, I'm fairly sure you can yank that 4 cyl. out of there, and drop in a 350c.i.d. engine. That should provide plenty of shits and giggles when you hammer on that S-10...

I kinda like 4 and 6 cylinders more than v8's these days... Don't ask why because I'm not exactly sure, I guess it has to do with my liking of smaller engines whipping bigger ones...

4 & 6 cyl. are fine, don't get me wrong. But they'd be pretty hard pressed to even lay a finger on that S-10 if it had the 350 V8 in it.
Big engine + little truck = go obscenly fast.

Yeah, I know that s10's with v8's are extremely quick. I've seen a nice sonoma with a 350 in it a couple weeks ago hauling ass. But I like the challenge of setting up a smaller engine to make it fast. Then I'll be able to roll up to trash talkers and
them up.
