Engine seized
Got a 96 dodge stratus that hit a rut, damaged the oil filter, lost the oil, and the car was unknowingly run with no oil. The engine seized after a couple of miles with no noise whatsoever,... just quit. Dragged it home and have found the motor to be seized. I have replaced the filter and added oil, and also dropped some oil down the plugs in the hope of unseizing the motor. Will try to manually turn the crank tomorrow. Anyone got any tips or tricks for this, or is this going to be a waste of time?

Hmm,
If the starter motor can not turn it with the ratio it has, you have a big deal problem.
With no oil pressure the bearings will seaze to the crankshaft and then spin in the rod caps and main caps making the block unusable. Call a bone yard for an installed price, yep most will install and then if it has any problems they will fix it. You may want to reuse your head after a valve job. Sorry,
