That's still the old concept pic. Someone posted a link a while back with spy shots in it, and the site that had them was eventually shut down cause of it. The front end was slightly different, and I think looked a lot better then the concept pics that are around.

It doesn't seem mustangish to me. Kinda reminds me of the new t-birds in a way. Doesn't look aggressive enough, more luxury looking than aggressive muscle car. Mustang = muscle car. I'm looking over and over at the pic and I just can't see it all tricked out for power for some reason. Just not striking me as being a quarter mile car. What model is that suppose to be? gt,cobra, v6?

I know what you mean but I couldn't find any definite pictures or specifications. I've heard that a 3 valve V8 will replace the 2V, but that's probably just another rumor. I've searched for hours; does anyone have any good links.

I've just looked through some press photos, and the pic you've linked to is definately of the concept Mustang Convertible - Ford have only released 5 official photos of the 2005 Mustang Convertible at this time ... 3 are of the new color-configurable instrument cluster, and 2 are of the car itself but are poor shots with the copy of "2005 Mustang Moves To Flat Rock, Mich.: FLAT ROCK, MICH. Feb. 10, 2003 -- Driving more 'horsepower' into Michigan's economy, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Jim Padilla, Ford Motor Company Executive Vice President and President for North America, announced today that the 2005 Ford Mustang will be built at the AutoAlliance International plant in Flat Rock, Mich. Production of the all-new Mustang, will begin in fall 2004, and is expected to add 1,400 jobs at the plant. Mustang production is being moved because the Dearborn Assembly Plant, which has produced the legnedary car since its introduction in 1964, is being torn down as part of a $2 billion redevelopment to make way for the new Dearborn Truck Plant".

Yeah I have heard the 3 valve heads too. This was from a dealer though, but who knows what will really happen?
