oil light came on
today my oil light come on on my 6c 98 rodeo. and the check engine light has been going on an off since I owned it. I had to add 4 quarts to get the oil level up to full. I have never had a car the was this low on oil. I had the oil changed 2200 miles ago at E-Z Lube here in Vista. I don't see how I could have used this much oil. the car only has 65000 mile on it and runs fine...there are no oil leaks, or smokes, none. I am thinking that E-Z Lube drained my oil but forgot to refill it....I will never know ..I drained the oil and refilled it to make sure I had the right amount of oil in it. How badly do you think the engine was damaged..or could my Rodeo be using this much oil?...

Unfortunately this is not uncommon for mainly 1998-1999 isuzu 3.2/3.5L engines
 . Seems to start at about 50-60Kmi. Check your oil level at every gas fill up!! There are many posts out there in regards to your concern. Here's one thread: http://www.forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?t=159G/luck Joel

Rodeo2, Thanks. now I know what happend to all my oil. that sucks big time..I had a old Datsun that had all kinds of crazy leaks but it never went through 4 quarts as fast as this Rodeo..
